  • Cooking For Long Island Veterans

Our first mission at CFLIV is to ensure that homebound veterans with mobility or health limitations receive healthy meals & groceries delivered to their home.

Next, we are proud to be all inclusive with our volunteer staff. We work with groups from ACLD, CDD, UCP, IGHL & other agencies  to  provide meaningful tasks for these individuals.

We work to reduce the carbon footprint by performing food rescue.

Additionally we form relationships with VFW's, American Legions, etc. as well as Active Duty & Reservist groups, planning dinners & activities.

We welcome new ideas and partners. The organization is a great resource for a veteran and their family. If you are, or know of, a veteran who is having difficulty getting to the store or cooking for themselves, reach out to this organization; “Feeding Our Homebound Vets

Your courage and sacrifice have made a difference in preserving and defending world peace.
